This year we chose Muskegon for our Great Lakes beach vacation.  We tried out four different parks’ beaches, all of which had the fine sand that the west coast of Michigan is known for.  Once again, Maya’s love of the sand resulted in her looking like a cinnamon powdered donut!  For the most part, we kept Brandon out of the sun, so his fun was reserved for twilight.

The water was a little chilly, but the time of year apparently was not the issue… as others at the beach said it was much warmer the prior week.  Oh, well, better luck next year.
